Experience the Hall transformed after dark in this immersive late-night Prom inspired by Radio 3 Unwind’s acclaimed show Ultimate Calm.
Presenter and composer Erland Cooper is joined by Isobel Waller-Bridge, Belle Chen, Lucinda Chua, Alice Boyd, the City of London Sinfonia and the BBC Symphony Chorus for a uniquely atmospheric programme that blends classical and ambient music with soundscapes and electronics.
Featuring world premieres of new arrangements by Cooper and Waller-Bridge, alongside music by Ravel, Debussy and Jóhann Jóhannsson and a specially recorded musical safe-haven from Ólafur Arnalds, this is an invitation to slow down, switch off and experience the Proms in a completely different way.
You can listen to Ultimate Calm every evening at 9pm on BBC Radio 3 Unwind. Find it on Digital Radio, Smart Speaker and BBC Sounds.
Broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 3 Unwind.
