Discover a new immersive, looping soundscape by musician and sound artist Alice Boyd, inspired by the TOAST AW25 collection, The Curious Mind.
The piece, playing throughout the venue, will invite quiet attention, drawing from the subtle textures of studio life, archival discovery and musical experimentation.
Using original field recordings and layered sound design, the composition evokes the rustle of pages, the trace of pencil marks and the gentle movement of melody - creating a contemplative atmosphere that mirrors the spirit of lifelong learning, process and care.
The event
To mark the launch of their Autumn Winter 2025 collection, The Curious Mind, TOAST hosted an immersive three-day event at 14 Cavendish, celebrating curiosity, contemplation, and a lifetime of learning.
Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s belief that “interest is the most important thing in life; happiness is temporary, but interest is continuous,” the event brought together artists, thinkers, makers, and the wider community.
Through installations, exhibitions, workshops, talks, and performances, visitors were invited to explore ideas, share perspectives, and embrace learning as a lifelong practice.
