The vocals are crooned gently over languid acoustic guitar and strings, though as the track develops so too does its intricacy and drama, the song revealing itself to owe as much to the left-field arrangements of acts like Dirty Projectors as traditional folk. These sensibilities ebb and flow in keeping with the emotional turmoil of the lyrics and strings which lead with a poignant, often playful plasticity. What emerges is a picture of a failing relationship in all of its contradictions. Regret and longing sit side by side, so too conviction and doubt, as well as a steadfast belief in both the misery and wonder of any human connection.

Sensational blend of male and female vocals. It’s a sad song about a relationship that does not come to fruition. Guitar and a brilliant string arrangement puts this song up there with the Beatles and their more folk oriented tunes.

Production is top tier, same with the vocals. Lyrical content is also nice! Instrumentation is also outstanding and love the dynamic chord progression! Kept me on my toes.

Absolutely gorgeous! Your voices blend so well. The instrumentation is perfect too. Best song – by far! – I heard on SubmitHub today.

The two voices blend so nicely and the lyrics are beautiful! The lyrics evoke a clear image but allow the right amount of room interpretation. The background ooohs and aahs come in smoothly and add energy in all the right places. The strings are subtle but beautiful. I have nothing to say, I feel like a mouse in a field enjoying a breeze. This is fantastic!

Very well done vocals. The song is soft and dreamy. The soundscape is very nice and full but subtle.
