Singer-songwriter and sound artist Alice Boyd presents a two-part set combining immersive installation and live performance, with a short interval in between.

The first half features The Sounds of King’s Cross, a spatial sound installation commissioned by Kings Place. Created from field recordings and interviews gathered in the green and blue spaces of King’s Cross, it invites listeners to explore the hidden soundscapes of urban nature and the voices of those who care for it.

After the interval, Alice and her band will perform a live set blending folk-inspired harmonies, ambient electronics and environmental sound. They’ll perform songs from her most recent EP alongside new material that reflects on our interconnectedness with the natural world.
