'a pink afternoon by the Danube' is a collaboration between British musician and sound artist Alice Boyd and Slovakian musician and producer Kub0.

They met in Bratislava while Alice was visiting the city to speak at TEDx, and began working on the track after discovering a shared love of ambient and electronic music. The track was inspired by a field recording trip Alice made to the floodplains of the Danube, with song of the chaffinches (pinka or pinka obyčajná in Slovak) and the sounds of the surrounding wetlands sitting alongside electronics and layers of voice.

'a pink afternoon by the Danube' grew out of an unexpected meeting in Bratislava and their shared interest in music, landscape and sound.
